Some Mucinex^® products contain nasal decongestants to help open up the nasal and sinus passageways. Decongestants shrink the mucus membranes that are inflamed inside your nose. This helps relieve that stuffed-up feeling and drain all that trapped mucus.

When looking at the active ingredients on the packaging, you will see active ingredient names like: pseudoephedrine, phenylephrine, and oxymetazoline. These are all nasal decongestants.
